That's a procedure that requires both the player and the team's agreement. You can't just sign a guy and say, "Ha ha, we fooled you." Well at least not for 90 days.
Maybe Ariza does want to go to Cleveland and we SNT him for one of Clevelands bigs since they Got Shaq now. Plus no Jersey seems a bit suspicious. Ariza also had a little double fist pump at the end of the conference as if he maybe got out of there before he got asked some tougher questions!!!! Just speculating.
