So Craig said on the broadcast that Ariza was in a freaking walking boot after the game he got injured?! Love that we hear about it after the "phew, he's alright after all" fact smh.
Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said he expected Ariza to be out for three to four weeks instead of four days. Um, what the hell is this? We were under the impression he would be out for the 3 game road trip. What is this "after the fact" 3-4 weeks being out crap?
Rockets lie about every injury. It's pretty standard at this point. I'm expecting Chris Paul to be out well over the 4 week timeframe they stated originally. WELL over.
If we trade Ariza then we should tank, because Paul will bounce in the summer, and Harden will demand a trade shortly thereafter. Still sound appealing? Or do you think we should just keep his tiny contract and play him at a position where Tucker and Moute are also available for minutes?
Lol, seems like the Rockets lie about injuries more ridiculously each year. Not even 10 games into the season and they've already blatantly lied about their estimated timetable for Ariza lmao.
Makes you wonder about our training staff. Regardless of whether it's over or under ... Misdiagnosing the time a player will be out by that long is pretty bad.
The Rockets locker room is full of "ouch!" right now. They're a little banged up, including the Brazilian. You can see it in a few guys' step...things are slower, overly-cautious and the sharpness isn't quite there. I noticed PJ's pain last game. His lift wasn't there (not that he is a high-flyer) on his few shots, nor was he able to rebound the way we've enjoyed thus far. I guess it will be ice buckets, ginger steps and a good portion of Keith J. for a little while. I prefer the injury bugs to happen now, rather than late into the season and/or the playoffs. Let's get the hurt out of the way. Random Shout out to the legend, Bobby Brown, for tightening up the rotation. I.C. would have enjoyed it here longer--err a week, perhaps--but it doesn't ever work out the way we plan.
Jesus. This always happens with Rockets injuries. One day it's 2-3 days and literally the very next day it's 4-6 months.
