I'm trying to remember but did Artest guard Ariza at stretches in last year's playoffs? I think if he did Ariza should know what to expect from Artest.
Spare us the dramatics. If that were V-Span or Von Wafer going against Kobe Bryant you'd be riding their jocks calling Kobe a loser.
You just said a day or two ago the Ariza will do well against Artest because he gets so many shots using screens and Artest does not run through screens well.
Never wanted Ron, never liked his game, think he is bad overall for team chemistry, and am VERY happy the loser is gone !! GOOD RIDDANCE !! DD
Kobe complains to the refs throughout the game. He's a complete crybaby, and we know his history with Raja Bell. So Superstars complain.
What is that Korean stuff supposed to mean? I can read KOH-SSU...on the other side of his head, I think I saw RAE - but no idea what the whole thing is supposed to mean.
Funny how we had the best season since 96-97 with him on the roster. I'm not saying team play was always pretty, but it was effective and the results spoke for themselves.
and ariza didn't do that. he went 1-on-1 and dribbled a ton, the first game he did that all year. i said that in the other thread that if ariza tries to do too much and not play within the system, he will get shut down by artest. if ariza played like he has (screens, fast break, cuts, opportunistic offense), artest can't do much against him.
It means Lakers, I think he had Lakers written in Japanese and Chinese as well on his head lol. what a knucklehead.
I missed the second Portland game and the Utah game but in the 3 regular season games I have seen him in he didn't use screens much at all. In fact, I have seen him dribble himself into turnovers more than I have seen him even try to use a screen. Did he use screens in the two games I missed? Serious question.
I missed the first two games but watched the Port and Utah game and he was dribbling a lot less and coming off some screens, not a ton. He played a lot better and didn't try to do as much as he did last night
