This is why I think Morey and Adelman should do something about Ariza as soon as possible. Ariza is a bad model. The rockets cannot allow Ariza to do anything that he wants, but don't allow other rockets to do those things. They feel unfair, and thus try to do something for themselves. This is how bad chemistry starts.
I was skeptical at first since I didn't see the game but this is bad and not a good sign. He's not even hiding the fact he doesn't like not getting the ball, even worse than Artest / Tracy ever did (as a Rocket) I hope he will be reprimanded and they tell him he better fix his attitude or walk. By the way, who is AB screaming at near the end, the ref or Budinger ? He seems to be really pissed off lately.
I'm sure this is why MAC was so frustrated...you have Ariza playing worst than LAST YEAR's McGrady and THIS YEAR's McGrady isnt even getting a chance to show what he's got left... Maybe if Mac would have kept his mouth shut he would be the current starter...
Wow. My exact thoughts. That play with Dudley over playing the pass made me cringe. He had a wide open lane to cut and didn't take it and stalled the play even more.
Sometimes cutting is not necessarily for YOU to get open but to open it up form someone else as the defense has to honor your cut and rotate too you. In fact a vast majority of the cuts are not going to result in you getting the ball... You have to truly be an unselfish player to make cuts. Trevor....does not make cuts. DD
If I were at the game where he yelled on Battier for not catching his ill minded pass, I was gonna throw something at him. How in the world can a scrub yell to the soul and heart of this team, a Captain!! That is something coach shouldn't allow!
He needs to change his jersey number. Its starting to wear on him hehe. He was making cuts earlier this year. Not sure what has caused him to stop.
Yeah... Battier is the face of the Rockets and everything that is good. That may sound like a stretch but damn is he an amazing character to have on the team. Can't believe he has the nerve to talk down to such a man.

Ariza is like the guy you play with in pick-up basketball, who believes that he is Kobe/LeBron. Always wanting the ball and whines like a little girl when they don't get it.

When the going gets tough, the weak start to point fingers. That's as true of Ariza as it was of McGrady, Barkley, Drexler, Olajuwon, and all the people on this board whose fingers are now pointed at Ariza. b****ing doesn't win games, but winning does seem to silence b****ing, so I hope we get a little 2-game streak going before the Ariza hate gets any louder.
Stop being so pessimistic... Ariza CAN shoot, but when he has to create his own shot and wastes a lot of energy doing so, his shot is off. With Yao, Ariza can get more open set up shots that he can make, as seen last year in the playoffs. If we can get a shot creater during this off season then Ariza can be a nice role player like he was on the Lakers. I agree that his attitude might be a little childish at times but he is just frustrated because he is not adapting to his big role as smoothly as fans want him to. Cut him some slack, it's not our job to bench him.
Freak what Ariza has to say about Aaron Brooks atleast when brooks drives he doesnt go into the lane stops does 720's and travel and lose the ball...If Ariza would make his shots maybe Brooks would pass him the ball.
maybe brooks knows that its time for him to take his place as a leader on this team! i personally love the way he is playing right now. (other than his turnovers)
and T-mac was the new JVG and JVG was the new steve francis.....etc....... scapegoating is a full time occupation on the GARM, not that i disagree with what's being said about Trevor
