Yep. There's a huge difference between Von and Ariza/Barnes. Wafer was out of work for a year. Teams actually want Ariza and Barnes.
Yes, true, but when a player is constantly traded, or their main team is not desperate to sign them it says something. DD
It was clear what drove us and LA to trade or not sign him. In those cases the player remains passive. I can understand both sides. Heading towards the lockout teams are preparing for new contract situations. From the player's standpoint it is not the best situation for his development. He may be traded again all depending on Paul.
Never that impressed with Ariza, too expensive, not all that. I thought it was one of Morey's worst moves. Rocket's fans never really bonded with him.

Yes and Trev just wanted to make a name for himself somewhere else...It just shows Haters Gonna Hate no matter what
We'll miss you Trevor! When Battier puts up 2 points in 25 minutes on certain nights...we'll miss you. And when Shane has to sit out due to injury leaving Bud and Martin to guard opposing teams' starting wings...we'll miss you then too. Good luck with the Hornets!
You mean like Courtney Lee, who is on his 3rd team in 3 years. :: Just because he's been traded doesn't mean he sucks.
The real question is will REEKO_HTOWN quit Clutchfans now that Morey has rectified the mistake he made a year ago. So long, Trevor. Take your piss poor attitude and broken offensive game to Nawlins!!
Don't really know much about Courtney Lee but I will not miss Ariza's Crab dribble and poor perimeter shooting. I am opposed to teams in our division so Boooooooo the Hornets.
Good luck ariza! Feels like we did u bad but it is a business just not a great fit last year. Tho I would like to see him play with Yao b4 this trade
I agree, I was pointing out that hypocrisy of that statement with other players. It was an argument folks would make about others and to me it was silly.... Sometimes you just have to get somewhere you fit, or a team wants you. DD
Personally hated his signing last summer, but Ariza grew on me. He always seemed to be trying to do too much, but experimentation and player development was the Rockets theme last season. Besides, I appreciated his effort in a Yao-less year. While I'm curious as to how Ariza would've played with Yao, I'm not too upset by the move. OTOH, as some other posters said, it is troubling to see Ariza shipped out so quickly after he was so heavily woo'ed last summer by Morey. I realize "it's just business," but still I'd like to see a little more of a show of loyalty... or less butt-kissing in the first place.
