Ariza has to guard from PG to PF... No legs, no shot.

Harden's lack of fire is the reason Ariza and Smith are barely hitting any shots.

I really can't stand it when people twist my words up. What I said is Harden can not coast in the 1st half then pick it up in the 2nd half. Especially in the playoffs. He can not keep turning the ball over 7-9 times a game in the playoffs. Yes yes and yes everybody needs to up their level of play if they want to advance to the 3rd round. They are a joke defensively and this will not help them advance period.

In this series Ariza has been solid, he had an off tonight. Smith is most definitely not having a good series. I cringe every time he shots a three and please for the love of God stop bring up the ball like you're a point guard. I seen him waive Harden off several times last night.

For Ariza to guard CP3 is same as asking Dwight to guard elite SF. It take tons of energy to chase someone 2 positions smaller and faster. So I don't blame Ariza for not shooting the ball well, you can't expect him to do everything, he did good on stopping Paul. There are people on this team who don't defend at all and also struggle to provide anything positive on offense. Start from them, not from Ariza.

And Smith is bad. His regular season and playing vs Dirk's corpse luck has ran out. No more illusions. Smith is no sho when it matters.

ariza says - if you thought the regular season bricks were bad, wait till you see me in the playoffs. ima bring the bricks by the truckload! 20% from three, book it!

i dont wanna trade him but i dont want him to start either. i belive part of the reason he sucks so much here is cuz he's playing too many minutes. he's supposed to be a low 30s guy and he's 35-40mpg here. but he misse sa lot of wide open shots. ariza's been elite on defense but borderline passable on offense. i'd rather him be the backup 3/2 and some 4, and get a sf who's average at offense and good at defense. if he can shoot the three as well as bev that's fine.
