Is there any team in the league starting two players with a worse combined field goal percentage?

Josh "The Cancer" Smith is who we thought he was: Shooting 39% when he was kicked off the lowly Pistons, Shooting 39% since he joined our team even with the MVP and best center in the league drawing defensive attention to get him open looks.

Trevor "Mason Guildmaster" Ariza is truly outdoing himself this year, shooting 36% (which was dead last among qualified players last time I checked). Indeed, The Guildmaster has become the most prolific bricklayer in the NBA. He shot better than this even when we asked him to step in and replace T-mac's production, who was the most legendary Rocket wing of all time. Now even though Ariza was already on the downside of his career, Morey locked him into a long term albatross contract that will be surely untradeable as Ariza continues to decompose. At what point will the Ariza apologists admit that he is hot garbage? Does his shooting percentage need to drop into the 30's?

Never forget that Morey, in his infinite genius, gave up Chandler "Third Star" Parsons to bring the Brick Brothers in. Parsons is shooting 52.2% in his last 10 games by the way.

So far in this season (31 games for him) Josh Smith had ONE above 50% FG game, ONE! Not only is his FG% terrible, his FT % is atrocious as well (48%), the man simply can't shoot.

Why we keep bringing in guys that are bad at what Morey is tracking is beyond me....

I know our D sucked last year, but we brought in guys to fix that but ignored the philosphy behind it.

    Staggeringly shallow.

For somebody who wants 3's, 3's and more 3's...you think Morey would actually target players that can consistently knock down the 3. We really don't have any above-average shooters on the roster, except for maybe Terry.

Ariza is in a slump, you guys. Smith needs to stick to post ups, driving in and kicking out, and rebounds

Career 42/34/70 splits. Nobody was confusing Ariza for an excellent shooter.

I'll admit I was kind of blinded by that first 2 weeks he had for us. I really thought he'd give us elite shooting, but it is clear that won't be the case. Hell...at this point I'm just hoping he gives us average shooting.

DaDakota put his jynx on the team after the Memphis game. Already crowning the Rockets and now JCdenton comes in with the save! Lets hope we get a nice streak out of this!

Ariza is not in a slump but instead he is taking too many damn shots. It blows my mind that this guy goes out there and takes 7-12 3 pointers every game. How is McHale ok with that?
