THE YEAR THAT ARIZA SHOT 53% FROM 3 WAS HIS CAREER YEAR. HE ONLY PLAYED 23 MPG THAT YEAR. I NEVER SAID IT WAS LAST YEAR. Maybe High School was too long ago. Bad coach maybe?? Low minutes played?? When you watch basketball it takes about 2 1/2 hours to watch, yet the game is only 48 minutes long. 3 minutes is more than 3 minutes in an actual game. Also if you are tired sometimes it only takes a minute to get your wind. That could be the difference between making and missing a shot. 3 minutes over a long season is 246 minutes, that makes a difference.
My bad. I was counting different teams in the same season as "seasons." Ariza is a epitome of a journeyman. He changed team 6 times in 10 seasons, never playing more than 2 years on the same team.
