Someone asked him on Periscope if he hung out with Harden..said he has and that he's a cool dude. Why does it matter? Because Arian doesnt try to be politically correct. He gives his honest opinion, just like he did about other topics live. But I guess we should continue to believe Harden is not likable because fans, who have never met him, say so.
The question isn't his personal likability in social situations, it's his leadership skills in a basketball setting. He looks selfish, indifferent, and aloof far too often.
Durant liked Westbrook. Just kidding. Everything with Harden is fine. Promise you he will look good after this coming season.
not surprising. didn't the players vote him MVP last season? the guys he has played with (westbrook, durant, bev, beasley, etc) all seem to love him. a lot of fans don't like him but most athletes speak highly of him
I think Harden is a douche for not handing out autographs. That's it. I still like him being a rocket.
I dont know him personally Some people do imply he's not likeable as a person... He looks selfish? How? Unselfish basketball is passing and he's shown he can and will do that. Indifferebt and aloof are kind of synonyms, so thats one thing...understandable, but those in the locker room with him dont have that complaint. It all really revolves around his lack of effort defensively and Dwight...thats really it..and Dwight is gone...the d is definitely a concern, but he can fix a lot of that going forward.
Of course harden is a cool dude, one they are both from houston so he aint gonna throw shade at a houston brotha, second i think just about everyone thinks hes a fun guy, Bet he makes in rain in the strip club and he always laughs off the court with his boys. However on the court he wants the ball, he doesnt wanna play intense d and plays the blame game. Theres a difference with his on court and off court personality. Foster doesn't know him on the court.
When it comes to cool, Harden is the coolest. His style, demeanor and everything. Just a beast from the 70s playing in modern times. Too funky...
Foster isnt going to say anything just because Harden is a Houston guy. He wont even give love to the Rockets to make local fans happy, like Watt or other guys do. That's the point. He says what he thinks or nothing at all. Does Harden not hang out off the court with his teammates? If he was a dick on the court, why would his teammates bother with him off the court? Doesnt make sense. Do you hang out with co-workers that are jerks to you, while at work?
Everyone loves Harden. That's why the Players voted for Harden as the MVP, players love him. WHen is this year Players MVP award??
Why shouldn't he want the ball? Who should handle the ball more? You have quotes of him directly/specifically putting the blame on his team mates or coaches?
Everyone hates every other team and their fans. Foster wouldn't know, said he doesn't really talk to him anymore
Me on Foster: "I'm glad for what he did early in his career, but he ended being paid too much and hurt too often. I'm glad the Texans got rid of him"
Yeah, the one time I interacted with him was at a TriStar autograph/photo session and he wasn't friendly/personable at ALL. Not even to kids. Maybe just a bad day, I don't know.
