Yea, I had Reuben on my fantasy team. Watched a lot of Denver games that year. Kubiak was the OC. They couldn't score in the red zone and was losing games (ironic huh....???), so Shanahan stripped him of play calling duties and called the plays himself and they started winning. And then McNair brought in Kubiak as our head coach and the rest is history. Just the same they're going to have to draft a running back (or bring in a free agent). I don't believe Foster can be depended on.
Word man. All these dudes want to act self righteous, I guarantee you that if that broad came around throwing her ass at them they would NOT pass up that opportunity. Let's be real here, we are all men and will more than likely NOT pass up an opportunity like that.
An opportunity to sleep with a woman who's not all that, a self proclaimed golddigger, and an attention w****? Yeah, so irresistible
"Beggars can't be chosey..." Yes I would engage with sexual relations with this woman, I have no money to lose so it works out for me
Any young man might do it Only an idiot would do it without a condom one who wanted to reproduce more of himself with multiple women but even that is basic evolutionary instinct rampant in the world of pampered sport's egos because they are physically superior and admired and well paid
The problem with this is the PR it gets for the Texans. Foster is one of our stars and during our 2-14 season he's having an affair, Ok big deal, rich and powerful men have always had this issue and fallen into this trap. However, he gets her pregnant, OK, again this has happened many times before. The problem as I see it is that the "supposed pressure" he and his family put on her to have an abortion. If this is true and it becomes a public civil suit, then this is something I doubt the Texans and McNair want to be associated with. Foster deserves an opportunity to defend his actions in court, but if he did pressure/threaten her then he may lose a lot of support from the public. This is awful for his family and perhaps he should have fessed up with his wife and agreed to pay for the child behind the scenes. This would have mitigated this being played out in the media. I have to question his agent's guidance in this situation because this could cost Foster millions in endorsements, when a simple quiet settlement would have benefited all parties (accept the unborn child's right to a father).
Well, she lied about Foster forcing her to have an abortion. http://blacksportsonline.com/home/2014/01/arian-fosters-mistress-says-she-lied-about-forced-abortion-audio/
So if she loved him so much, and she would never let anyone "desecrate" his name, then why did she file a lawsuit against him in the 1st place??? Why not just "settle quietly" and have this thing go away?
Lmfao, CF loves to get into the personal lives of Houston players. Sure it sucks what he did, but who cares? We're fans of the Houston Texans, not Arian Foster's penis, why does it matter to us who he is ****ing?
KHOU: Norwood allowed her attorney to make a statement about all of this. He said, "She was just trying to calm the waters between her and Foster but she stands by that lawsuit." ... Norwood's attorney says Norwood stands behind her previous claim: Foster and his family pressured her to end her pregnancy and while confirming the conversation, York says the 20 year old has several text messages from Foster trying to strong-arm her into having an abortion. Neither York nor Norwood would talk on camera about the latest developments. Norwood's attorney says the conversation was an attempt to extend an olive branch but would not clarify if it happened over the phone or in person or whether it might have violated a restraining order. Norwood's attorney says a settlement is being worked out. He just wouldn't elaborate on what she is asking for in a lawsuit.
I'm always baffled by responses like these. As if a persons values and personality don't translate to how they approach and prepare for their job. Take an extreme case like Rodman, sure he rebounded the F out of the ball, but he was also a bomb waiting to go off and had to be on the right teams to be kept in check, and even then, he had his moments.
Which is why she retracted the statement made about camp Foster wanting her to abort the child, I am betting that was part of the deal.
Plus, this HAS to affect how Foster is going to perform on the field. For a moment, set aside the public embarrassment and the jeers, tweets, jokes and chants he's bound to hear from the fans. His personal life must be absolute hell right now and it would take an extraordinary person to be able to tune out all of this drama and perform optimally on the football field. The upcoming season was going to be a critical one for him anyway coming back from an injury and now the pressure on him has reached epic proportions. His meltdown before the Fox26 cameras certainly attests to this fact. My guess is that ultimately, all of this will prove to be too much to take and Foster will consumed by it in the end.
Arian Foster sues Norwood for defamation HOUSTON— Texans running back Arian Foster is fighting back against a young woman who claims she is pregnant with his baby. Foster’s attorney filed a countersuit Tuesday morning, accusing Brittany Norwood of defamation. The suit said Norwood is lying about Foster "with the intent to extort monies" from him. Norwood’s attorney sued Foster last week, saying he and his brother caused emotional distress by allegedly pressuring her into getting an abortion. But in audiotapes of a conversation between Foster and Norwood, she is heard saying "I never once said that you told me to get an abortion." Norwood told KHOU 11 News Monday night that Foster implied that she shouldn’t have the baby in text messages. One message from Foster said "because of the situation we’re in, we can’t bring life into the world under these circumstances." Another message said "I know you feel strongly about being a mother and all that but I can’t lose my kids man." Foster is married and has two children. "I don’t take back anything I’ve ever said," Norwood said after the recordings were made public. "I’ve been through a lot. I have. But I’m staying strong and I’m going to be a great mother." Norwood insisted she is not seeking publicity, even though her mother admitted the family was shooting a reality show based on their unique mother/daughter relationship. "All that started over a year ago," said Danna Sellers. "We’re moving forward. We’re moving forward and it has nothing to do with the child." Foster has yet to speak publicly about the lawsuit, but efforts to reach an out-of-court settlement appear to have stalled. "We’re seeking money damages," said Norwood’s attorney Doug York. "And once 12 people get in a box as jurors, we’ll let them decide." Norwood, who said she had received death threats from strangers over social media, said she won’t back down. "The truth is the truth," she said. "I’m not a home wrecker." Foster’s lawsuit refers to the first interview Norwood did with KHOU that "spread to the internet and was picked up by Sports Illustrated, NBC, USA Today and a number of sports-related websites."
