I'm not going to get technical because i don't want to be called a hater, not that it really matters, but i'll go for it anyway.

Most coaches only have a automatic double consistent with the amount of dribbles and how close the guy is to the basket. The idea is always to collapse and make the guy shoot over as many arms as possible. If scola gets the ball 9ft from the basket and takes 6-7 dribbles, most coaches wont allow a guy that close to the basket take that many dribbles. Also coaches double for variety of reasons. Coaches double a guy because the guy cant make a quality pass/play or to get the ball out his hands because he's killing you on the inside. Now i've seen Rudy double team adonyle foyl in the post. Some coaches will double anyone if they're in the post. I would lie to you if i said a team wont double scola, but it will be a soft double and it wont be consistent. A good defensive team and even those not so good wont double scola because their bigs can handle him. La didn't double scola and he shot 42%. La had problems with brooks and that why the titled towards him. Utah wont double scola, neither will sa,dallas, portland, orlando, cleveland, and most of the upper tier teams. Thats not a knock on scola, its just he's not that kind of dude that if you don't double he will drop 25 on you. I hope I'm wrong, but i don't think i am.

I'm agree with you. Scola is a good player, but I can't see him starring offensively.

Which PFs would you say are worthy of consistent double teams in the low post?

You know, thats a good question because it varies pending on the team, time in game and so forth. Like Amare is better moving forward than at standstill, but he's so explosive and draw so much contact that if you don't, he will get guys in foul trouble. Jefferson, Boozer,Brand,Randolph are all similar on the blocks and those are guys you might double. If Aldridge stayed in the post more, you would double him more. You cant double gasol because kobe is on the court, same as Duncan now with parker being a top 5 pg. Garnett is too unselfish too double. When i say that, some guys would rather pass than score, he's one of those guys. So just by that, there aren't alot of pf's that should be doubled, but coaches will double anyone.

    Jamison
    Bosh
    West
    Aldridge

    To name a few others.

Dirk is a dribble drive type of guy on the blocks, so i wouldn't double him.West and bosh are good ones that i missed. Jamison, i don't know if he will score or get my man in foul trouble if i dont. If aldridge put a mailbox down there, he would, but he has alot of rasheed wallace in him to the point he lets guys off the hook and shoots long jumpers. Good names though. I think when milsap gets his run, he's going to be there to because of he's relentless, physical, and creates contact. When he was starting for Boozer, he was 20-10 and dogging people.
