Just a few points. 1) Scola's minutes were limited due to teh fact that he was basically playing in a platoon with Landry. His per 36 numbers are 17.9PPG and 9.5RPG. Post all-star break in fact he averaged 36.2 Min, 18.7 Pts and 8.9 Rebounds. 2) Scola makes 50% less than Bosh giving us a lot more freedom to sign other players. 3) Scola is an iron-man who never misses games. Bosh has missed an average of 10 games for the last 5 years. Is Bosh the better player? Yeah, but we aren't exactly hurting at the PF position. Scola is a great player.
Bosh is softer than Jon Koncak's left butt cheek...... Scola is made out of Granite..... SCOLA over Bosh 100 out of 100 times. DD
I will pay money to watch Scola. I'd be luke warm to cool about paying money to watch Bosh. Enough said.
one more thing makes scola better than bosh. scola's never lied. well, bosh did. bosh said he wanted to be the man of a team. but what did he do? he chose the miami.
Let's end this Bosh talk with one indisputable fact. Bosh has never been out of the first round, what happened last time we gambled on a player like that who was crowned "superstar" based on stats alone? Back to Scola, I hope he gets out of these games cleanly, I just got a bad feeling realizing he really has never been injured and at his age, he probably is due a major one.
Exactly, until he became Kobe's sidekick, he never got out of the first round. Keyword being sidekick, Bosh himself knows this, which is why he ran under the Heat's skirt in Miami to play Wonder Woman to Wade and James' Batman and Superman. Either way, brother couldn't do nothing on his own and if Yao was gone, that is what he'd have been here since we'd have to trade all the good parts to get him. And then would have gouged us on his contract, which he probably wouldn't have lived up to. With that I write myself out of the Bosh talk, won't derail this thread anymore then necessary.
