He is better than Bosh.....because Scola will accept any role from top dog to role player and excel at anything.... And he plays hard all the time. Screw Bosh...I am glad the team didn't get that fame chasing wannabe. DD
The only way Scola > Bosh is if... Scola at 10 mil + upgrade at SF > Bosh at 17mil + Ariza So if the upgrade at SF vs Ariza is > than Bosh vs Scola (That's a lot of >>>'s)
Scola would do 20/10 in Toronto consistently easy. Lets see what Bosh could do as the only good big on a good team.
Not if you factor salary. You can afford Scola and Martin with what you're paying Chris Bosh. And although Bosh is younger, if you're looking at the short-term how much better is Bosh than Scola? Scola is as versatile as Bosh and is a pretty good rebounder in his own right.
I am taking into consideration the entire package.....and I am very happy we did not get Bosh. I think the whole chase was a marketing ploy anyway....I think the Rox knew they were not really in it...so they just gave it the old college try. Oh well, I am very happy the way it worked out in the end. DD
