    crazy, such bloated bureaucracy

    like in Germany

I support directionally what Milei is trying to do, reduce bloat.

I think Ramaswamy has a similar idea.

I don’t know enough about him to have a solid opinion but he sounds like another one of these guys with a lot of energy and attitude who’s appealing on buzzwords to an ideological side.

On the surface and a very small sample size, the guy seems like a nut..............BUT, if he was elected fair and square then the people deserve who they voted for and they can deal with the consequences. As ATW posted, I agree with trying to get the "bloat" out of the system and Viv was pushing that also, I think to an extreme but there are some forms of government that should be looked at to eliminate.

Funny to see that the magas are so desperate for "a win" that they are celebrating a nutcase winning in... Argentina of all places.

Weird to see a far right politician win an election in South America without the CIA pulling strings (or flat out orchestrating a coup).

I am close with several Argentinians (though I do not dine regularly with Mexican industrialists). The Argentinian friends, smart people, primarily believe:
    * He has a well-calculated public act designed to maximize free exposure on social media
    * Even then, he's been surprised by how well it has worked
    * He doesn't actually care about social issues, beyond the shtick to get votes
    * He has some worthwhile economic ideas

Anyway, they all roll their eyes at "Argentinian Trump." They say this guy is much smarter and we should wish Trump had this guy's actual brain for policy. Wishful thinking?

I hope to god, for Argentina's sake, that they are correct. But the current reheated Peronists have been awful in cycle after cycle, truly corrupt to their core. So you can start to understand why the people turn away from them.

Like me, he is also a WEF "super villain".

So that might make him suspicious to our other libertarian friends.

Yeah, I don't really understand the need to get off on watching people be upset about things. I don't know anything about Argentinian politics, other than the handful of Argentinian friends I have absolutely hating what's happened to their country over the years, so I'm not going to pretend that people posting partisanship p*rn in this thread really know anything about Argentina either.

100% inflation can drive folks crazy. See what happened in Germany in the the 1930's.

As a libertarian, I'm happier and well-off the more other people suffer!
