another opportunity, lebron drives into the paint and throws it to westbrook coming around wide open. lebron's pass is slightly off target, westbrook of course bobbles it and then with a 10 foot wide open jumper barely even grazes the rim. this follows deron williams having a wide open 12 footer in the paint because no one picked him up and he still bricked it. this team seems to be amazingly uncomfortable with each other out on the court. the redeem team was so much better in that regard. this team always acts like they've never played a 5-on-5 game before and continually makes mistakes that would be almost unthinkable for them to make in an nba game.
am i the only one who hates watching carmelo on this team? all he does is miss open jumpers and never come down with rebounds in traffic and then that foul on ginobili was just terrible.
the olympics are in a week. that's all the time there is. these are all-stars. running a break without turning it over shouldn't be hard. making a 10 footer with no one on you shouldn't be hard (paul just drove in the lane for a 6 footer that he never misses in the nba), not committing sloppy turnovers all the damn time shouldn't be hard. this team certainly isn't the dream team and they aren't all that close to the redeem team. oh and carmelo missed a super easy tip in just now.
I'm watching only last 5 minutes but from the moment argentina got close it became one-way refereeing.
Que tapa la de Scola sobre Carmelo! Is it the stream or does Ginobili look much more fit than last year?
I think Spain beats USA on Tuesday. I think Coach K rests a few older players (Kobe) to make it easier to swallow.
This. I don't know why people would root for Argentina, unless they spent more time there, in their overall life span, than in the USa.
