How would YOU even know if someone did that incessantly? Answer: you wouldn't. For the record, I don't do any of those. Every now and then I'll sit on the same bench in a restaurant booth (usually at her request). My response for you is mind your own business. Get a girlfriend and maybe it won't bother you as much.
My girl is that THAT girl. She loves to cuddle and be close to me. I think its cute and does not really bother me at all. I don't need to be near her or show PDA to feel good because I'm very secure in our relationship but if that makes her happy, fine by me.

Just an idea but don't you think it's possible that the lady in the mentioned situations may actually be the one suggesting 1) she move closer while on the bench seat 2) she wants to seat on same side of booth 3)she likes the incessant hand holding Just a thought but I doubt thats possible, everyone knows women can't think on their own. It's a Maaaan's world!
It's pretty easy to tell when a dude is holding hands with his girl in a "normal" manner. It's just as easy to tell when a dude refuses to let her wander outside of reaching distance from him. I see it all the time at movie theaters. Okay internet tough guy, I'll mind my own business. Give me a break. Oh, and if I wanted a girlfriend I'd have one. I love how you think my thoughts on the subject are only valid if I have a girl.
Not a truck guy, so my answer to that one is incomplete. Yes. Yes. No. I have a hot ass wife, I like feeling up on her as often as possible, and I don't get to see her as often as I'd like. Doesn't bother me.
I'm probably not THAT guy, though I do sit on the same side of a booth with my girlfriend and TRY to give her some PDA because I know it makes her happy. Or hell, sometimes I just want to be flirty with her. As far as seeing others do it, as long as it's not WAY overboard, it doesn't bother me. Hell, if they found someone they feel that close to and makes them happy... good for them.
I guess I should have made it more clear in my original post. You pinpointed the point I'm trying to make here. I'm referencing the guys who go overboard in the above actions. If it's the female who prefers these things, then so be it, but I'd be willing to bet money that it's the male acting as though she's a possession more often than not. Just my opinion. Since it seems like I'm in the minority here we'll just have to agree to disagree on the subject.
Yikes...I'm not that guy. But I'm also not the guy who pushes my wife away when she sits close to me or grabs my hand when we're out. I'm way too out of my league to tell her to back away.
I have a truck, but it has a center console. That being said if it didn't have a center console and my wife wanted to sit next to me, of course I would be that guy. Sometimes I share the booth with my wife, and sometimes I sit across. We hold hands all the time. I'm not insecure. I am happy, and my wife is happy and we love being together. I don't give a flip what a stranger or even someone I know thinks about how we conduct ourselves.
i hate when a guy wants you to sit on the same side of the booth at a restaurant. i also hate when they drape their arm over you in public. other than that, i don't really have a problem with PDA. i like holding hands and kissin'. there's something sweet about cuddling in bed before you drift off, but there are actually people out there who want to SLEEP intertwined with their loved one. which ultimately just seems sweaty and uncomfortable and distracting. maybe getting out of a four year long relationship has something to do with it, but overly lovey-dovey people make me want to vomit.
