People generally say that's Cannon's best album but I think his solos on that album are subpar when compared to the other CD's in the Miles period (Kind of Blue, Milestones, Cannonball & Coltrane) or the albums he mand when he began leading his own quintet/sextet.
my first two classes tmrw are cancelled and my only other class is possibly cancelled...so I'm gonna be up late tonight, don't have to be in class til around 1:30 if at all...........
Usually in bed by now (2 AM) but we've got some bad weather coming through... I'd say I hit the hay anywhere from Midnight-ish to 2 every night... up by 6:40-ish...
Golf ball to softball sized hail in our area (Collin County) in North Dallas / Plano... Watches until 2:45 and on until day break... Rain just starting...
Got some light studying to do for a quiz in 6 1/2 hours. Nothing serious, just need to glance over some stuff. The payoff is that when I get back to my room and I can slam the door and hopefully wake my roommate up. Teach him a lesson
I'm still up writing a paper for foreign relations. I'm analyzing the gender and race relations and how that affects our policy overseas. Fun.
When I was in college I would go to sleep at 11. My roommate would stay up until 5 drinking beer, smoking weed, and playing video games. I graduated; he flunked out.
I've been working my balls off all week. No work or class tomorrow. It's 3 30 am, and after working out, arguing with the gf for a few hours, smokin a few js with my friends (haha Cannonball) and watching the most random movie I've ever seen (Bowfinger), I'm still up and I'm realizing that I must have been some kind of messed up because I sincerely thought that Eddie Murphy deserved an Oscar for his role. I'm going to bed now.
I seriously have such an issue with going to bed at a decent hour. No matter how much I try, no matter how much I look at the clock at, say, midnight, I always seem to look up 5 minutes later and go "dammit, it's 3:00am again. Time to go get my 3.5 hours of sleep." I don't know what it is, but it seriously seems to be chronic. It might still be the remaining force-of-habit effects when I worked two jobs at 30 hrs/wk and took 19 credits back in the day... just got used to getting no sleep.
Yeah so I just imagined some creepy dude saying this and it really freaked me out at 3 45. No offense though dude. Now I'm really going to bed except that I'm turning on all the lights.
Finished studying and got back to my room only to find my roommate still awake on his laptop. I'll get my revenge in the morning.
