What Mac does wrong off court: Him seeking the 100th opinion only because the 99 opinions do not fit his agenda. I can imagine how Mac fans will refute: "You are not TMac how the hell do you know how he really feels" To that I can only say, nobody in the universe knows exactly how Mac feels but I trust the doctors' collective professionalism and competency much more than Mac's.
This thread is stupid....Are you serious? You are a fan and have every right to criticize any player you wish....I have been emotionally invested since 1975....T-mac/Rockets should be talking to the media as one not giving conflicting information...
LOL, 2 times in 24 hours you post the exact same thing. Artest calling out Tracy was good thing, it was time some1 told the truth. And you are completely and utterly wrong about what it means to be fan. You do not root for the players regardless. In this case, Tracy is the cancer and if you want to root for a guy that doesn't care about the Rockets, his teammates, the coaches, the city of Houston or the fans then go ahead. Please use your brain and see what's going on because obviously you're in the land of the blind and the #1 eyed man is your king

Tell em like it is brother! This is the HOUSTON ROCKETS, and organization rich with HISTORY OF CHAMPIONSHIPS and HALL OF FAMERS. Teach these kids what the ROCKETS are all about. This is an organization with a reputation of toughness and heart. The Rockets didn't start when Tmac showed up.
In response to jkilla: I don't know where you came from but when a professional player doesn't give 100% when he's out there on the court, he not only doesn't deserve to be on this Rockets team, but the NBA as well. Tmac was a great player, but the beating he has taken has finally caught up to him and he should have fessed up at the beginning of the season by saying he just is not the same player anymore as he was when he came here and not blaming this whole situation on his knee. He literally gave up in that last Toronto game, and that just shows he is not physically and most importantly not mentally prepared to play on this team. Your comment about we have to support whoever throws on a Rockets jersey is straight up false. We don't elect players to this team. This is a business and people come and go. Tmac has come and has now gone playing-wise. The run was good, but with respect, Tracy's career is slowly coming to an end. Rockets fans have every right to be fed up with someone who continues to play games with their emotions by keeping us in suspense every ball game about whether or not tmac is in or out. And then on top of everything, he goes and tells Stephen A. Smith that he's out for the season before even discussing it with Morey. Morey himself said this causes problems and the timing couldn't have been better, a day before the deadline, who's gonna want tmac now (not that they really wanted too much before). P.S. - this season the Rockets record is much better with tmac out of the lineup than when he is in it
Two championships does not equal a rich history of championships. This is not the Boston Celtics. It isn't the Los Angeles Lakers. It isn't even the Chicago Bulls. It's the Houston Rockets. I'm a fan, but let's keep things in proper perspective. I find it ridiculous to refer to our rich history of anything at this point, except maybe underachieving.
then go be a Lakers fan or a Bulls fans. YOU ARE NOT A ROCKETS FAN. 41 YEARS OF BADASS TRADITION <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EMzBjVIVylI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EMzBjVIVylI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
No, but i think TWO championships are far from a " history of championships". Rockets history really isn't that rich compared to the better franchises. We have only two rings, and only 4 finals appearances. We have some hallf of famers, but probably an average number compared to the rest of the league. We definitely haven't had a reputation of toughness and heart in over 10 years. You're pretty much summarizing the 2 championship years when talking about rockets' history.
that video says 41 years of tradition, YOU say 41 years of BADASS tradition. That's your perspective. ANY team has tradition. Hell the clippers have it as well. You're looking at the quantity and not the quality. richness has to do with the quality of years, not the number of years.
Who said we were rooting for one superstar? We are just two of the few that don't resort to criticizing when our team is going through a tough time. I've been a Rocket's fan before McGrady, so how can I be a band wagon fan? Through the injury plagued season, which i believe was 05-06, I still watched every game. Did you? Probably not. You were probably criticizing the team for being injured because you're that ignorant and not anything near understanding.
We played with heart and toughness with Steve and Cat, we just had a very untalented DLeague roster...
If it was as simple as Tracy being injured, their would be ZERO complaints and/or criticism. (Well maybe not ZERO, I can't account for all the crazy peeps on this board) You are missing the point.
Seriously, how old are you? If you feel this way about the Rockets, why are you here? Only ten teams have won two or more championships. If you remove the championships won before what I'll call the "modern era" (I'll make it before 1960, and have no problem if someone wishes to correct me), that number falls to eight. Eight out of thirty teams. Those other 22 teams would love to have our record, much less the Hall of Fame players the Rockets have been blessed with. I can see you're a "glass half empty" kind of guy.
True we haven't won a truckload of championships but we are Rockets fans and this is our history. I wish we would've won 17 championships but that doesn't change that I love the Rockets and the history of them from Elvin Hayes to Yao Ming. That's what it means by being a fan.
