Actually Faith was always a fun song. And Father Figure was cool.

All in all, yeah, GM did some good stuff, perfectly captured the spirit of the decade.

Plus, the above quote made me remember a funny joke (it was funny in the 80's at least):

Have you heard the Go-Go's latest song?

Wake Me Up Before You Wham-Wham

did he fall off after people realized he was gay? or was it a natural progression. I liked him when i was a kid, don't know if i'd pay to see him. i'll just catch his music at an eighties bar.

True dat. His music did change quite a bit for "Listen Without Prejudice". There are some great songs on that album.

Appears on "Make It Big", thus is a Wham song.

There are people on here that will call Justin Timberlake talented knowing that it's not going to get them a piece of drunk white teen tail. I don't see how admitting to like George Michael could require any more self-assuredness.

    Jitterbug!

I'm secure enough to admit to liking him more than I am standing next to him in a urinal.

    Ticket Prices: $145, $85, $65, and $45

With prices like that he must think he's Sting.

    Oh, wait...

Or he must think everyone has forgotten what kind of "sting" he was caught in.

The guy was blessed with the voice of an angel. I can't think of too many men I'd say that about. How's that for secure?

Right. It is a Wham song, technically. Though
    [IMG]
you can see how it led to confusion & ambiguity :)

A teacher of mine went and saw him concert way back then, talking about it all excited to the class. She wore the concert shirt the next day. She was a regular ol' teacher type and her son was attending the same school at the time, so we gave him a good teasing about that. Things like if she brought him back posters and jacket buttons for him to wear and stuff..

I'm not the big Police fan, although I like Stewart Copeland's drumming alot. The GF is a big Police fan, and since this is pretty much the last chance Houstonians will get to see them, we decided to drop the dime and go for it. Our seats are in the back uncovered area, stage right. Bought a parking pass too so we don't have to do the "wander through the Woodlands woods" to get to the arena.

Faith is okay. Other than that, no? Because I don't like George Michael?

It has nothing to do with being secure in my manhood though. I like Lisa Loeb.

As long as I'm at it, I'm gonna post a Sondre Lerche video. Because he's just ****ing awesome.

I'm secure enough to admit to it. Faith is a terrific album.

Faith, Father Figure, Monkey, Kissing a Fool, I Want Your Sex, Hand To Mouth. All really good songs.

I also like Freedom '90, Somebody To Love(w/ Queen), and Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me(w/ Elton John).
