The poll should be revised to ask "What non-Asian, Houston fans are ready to move past the Yao Saga?" I have a strong feeling the results would be flip-flopped.

My point was, those players won't come to Houston, we most likely will have to attend a superstar through the draft.

As much as we want Melo to come, he ain't. If I am wrong, great, but from everything being read and said...he ain't coming and nor is CP3.

So your saying white people would vote for white people, the blacks would vote for blacks and the Asians would vote for Asians only.

I guess that means the people who voted for Obama was only African American folks....

CF are just fans of the team, not the players. Team first!!!
The truth hurts , but it is still the truth none the less. Yao has been holding this team back for too long now. In my fantasies Yao comes back healthy a retires a Rocket years from now, but i just don't see it happening because of his history. If it were not for Yao's injuries, i truly believe we would be champs by now.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying there is a large Asian population in Houston and I'm sure they don't want to see him go. Of course, there are all types of people who wouldn't want to see him go as well, but it would be interesting to see how much racial bias is involved when the question of Yao staying or going is posed.

Sad to say but the Yao window is closed with Houston. This doesn't mean that Yao isn't a great player any more. In fact, I'm confident that he will be back to his old self. However, if you look at how Miami plays now, esp. its defense, no other teams has any chance, barring injuries.

Yao, when healthy can be one of the top dominant players in the game. He has given his body for the organization and deserves more respect than he gets. Dont forget it was Adleman who played him 38 minutes a game leading up to the injury. Injuries suck, but its part of the game. He has never not given 100% for the team and the fans.

I love how all the fans think Yao is the problem with this team. I got news for ya! Yao is the only solution for this team. When he is healthy he will be our loan dominant player in the paint. Howard is not walking through that door! After that there is no one I want more than Yao. Grow up and be patient.

    I also think so.

Superstars want to play with other stars. We don't have none. Tmac came to Houston to play WITH Yao. That's why he wanted to come. Yao then was a young exciting player, with a bright future. He's not that anymore.

We are in the same spot as Dallas, San Antonio. Their franchise guys are aging as well, but their guys play most of their games. In the NBA you live and die by your franchise guys and that's what's happening now like it or not.

Amen to this. I am not ready for years of rebuilding with or without Melo.

All you have to do is front Yao and he can't get the ball. So why I applaud Morey and Les for making money. Keeping Yao is not aligned with what we want, another championship and the team we have now based on the 1st 3 games is not constructed to do that.

Heeeey,so many merciless and unhumanized guys?!

YAO is not machine but a man......we cant blame at him but ignore his absence for whole season...Just 3 games, why not give more patience?
What's more it's not YAO caused 3g loss .the whole team players should undertake the responsibility!

My question is how does getting rid of Yao solve our problem of horrible defense? Miller is not a good defender so who do we have that can grab boards and clog the lanes, change shots?

If I had a choice between Yao and Dwight howard than I'd say lets move pass yao but there really aren't any good options available for us than Yao and he is going to help this team more than hurt. We are 0-3 not because of Yao but because of horrendous perimeter defense and really horrible substition methods.
