We love making fun of douchebags but lets face it if there wasn't so many douchebags out there we wouldn't be making fun of them. Plus if there hot chicks going out with douchebags how many of us men wouldn't want to be a douchebag. So lets fess up. Who's here admits to being a douchebag or having been one at one time? For women. Are you dating / married to a douchebag or have in the past? For me I'm a little too old to fit the current definition of a douchebag but I will admit to having behaved and having many douchebag qualities. There was a time in the late 80's and early 90's when I did pop my collar and did wear things like Rugby shirts and faded jeans. In fact I still do but I want pay more than $30 for them. I will also admit to having shown off my guns and abs to a woman in a bar to impress them and to having drank Jagermeister in college. In fact since I was in a fraternity for awhile that alone automatically increases my douchebag quotient. Anyone else?
"No" for me. It's pretty hard to look like a douchebag when you: a. Look like Farmer Ted in high school b. Look like Richie Cunningham in college c. Look like Conan O'Brien post college-present Even now, with the advances in fake tanning and HGH, the douche-o-meter would still barely register. I would end up looking like Danny Bonaduce
Exactly. No one will think of themselves as a douche. But someone, somewhere will consider you a douche.
I don't like option D. I am a woman, I did date a douchebag once, but it had nothing to do with barbed wire tattoos. In fact, I dumped him because he was a complete douchebag. There should be an option that says, I am a woman, I once dated a douchebag, but I have seen the light. And, for another thing, does that make me a douchebag because once I dated a douchebag? Do I redeem myself because I dumped him? I need to know! My self-confidence rides on this!
The definition of "douchebag" is different for everyone, but I think these qualities certainly help my case... - Never been in a frat - Never worn a popped collar - Never worn a pink shirt - Never spiked my hair like a porcupine - Never worn colored contacts - Never gone around calling everyone "bro" - Never puckered my lips for a photo - Never worn a sleeveless shirt/vest to a club - Never bought/wore Gucci sunglasses - Never worn "ice" or "bling" - Never got a spray tan - Never worn makeup - Never did steroids - Never worn a visor (forward or backward) - Never worn a John Deere hat - Never got a waxing of any kind - Never been to New Jersey
Wearing faded jeans or drinking Jager doesn't make you a douchebag. But thinking you are awesome for doing those things is what makes you a douchebag.
i wear a lot of polo shirts...i do wear pink every now and then...however, i dont wear afflication or other graphic tees. i dont have a bluetooth ear piece. i do have a cell phone carrying case, but i dont put my shirt over it so that every can see it. i never have popped my collar in my life...what else?
I only hit on one item of your list, but that's not fair....the John Deere hat came with the tractor I bought. Douchebags don't own tractors!
Never been to New Jersey? Can i get an explaination on that. Ive been to NJ. Didnt really notice anything extraordinary about them having more douchebags than any other state. The douchiest state is Rhode Island. EVERYONE there fits your requirements...although most people i met in RI are tourists from the NE states
I agree. In fact, some dudes try to be douchebags on purpose by trying to fit into douchebag characteristics.
basically Jason Williams of the nba. white chocolate. i dont think that makes you a douche. most douchebags i have met have been preppy white people
My best friends were ethnic and heavily into hip-hop so I got into too, then I started wearing baggy fubu jeans and "ShadyXL" and Rocawear. Eeeesh. I even used ebonics on several occasions. For the record though, I wasn't overtly trying to be "gangster" like Jamie Kennedy or anything. I thought the way they portrayed white boys who liked hip hop in Hollywood was stupid. sigh. Its tough "finding yourself"
