I don't think the thread was meant to be that idiotic. I think the Op is thinking is how much in return they can get for harden, and getting 2 really great players in the draft that could pan out like GSW did w/ splash brothers. Probably what he was thinking. But really rockets should just build around Harden again. You would have to put Anderson+ Ariza for another star in a package. Sign another star in the free agency. Roll with those 3 dudes. Have Gordon Three's off the bench. Houston will always be trying to assemble a team better than gsw, and will probably fail every year. But atleast the rockets are fun to watch, and are a top 8 team.
But how often does that ever happen? Almost never. Chances are much better to continue to build a team around Harden. This current team has been playing in this MDA system for about six months. They're still learning this stuff. Let them grow, get a few more key guys, and compete for a title. Or dump Harden, draft a couple of guys who may or may not pan out, and enjoy mediocrity for a while. Doesn't sound that appealing to me. It's WAY too early to blow it up.
