I don't think they need to blow the team up. The Rockets are 2 to 3 players away from being true contenders. To me, the Rockets biggest weakness is their inside defense. I think they just need better front court players and they will be fine. They are NOT winning a championship with the way the team is built right now.
My point is that this rockets team is not at the same level as Warriors. The results in the past a few seasons showed so. the result in this season shows so. If you insist that they are at the same level, I am happy for ya.
Your point isn't anything any of us do not know. That's why your post about the rockets losing to them without kd didn't mean much, hence my response. The team to beat is already understood. All you can do as a team is give yourself a chance to win and in every game hou has absolutely had opportunities to do so and even took one with both teams at full strength this year.
There is more "right" than "wrong" with this year's team; Starting over would be counterproductive. A lot of Harden's success come from the way the team is staffed i.e. PatBev and Ariza coverup Harden on the defensive end and they are not demanding on the offensive end. Rino is spacing ( to much cap space IMO ). Capela nice low cost P&R guy. 2 of the best 6th men in the league & Nene big veteran. We are closer to the promise land now then we have been in years, keep this and twick it. Please do not start over. We are a Larry Sandrers type of move away. This season is not over and neither DMtheGM.
Going by that logic the Rockets are built around their picks too, Montrez, Capela, Dekker, Beverly 4 out of the 10 man rotation are from Rockets draft picks. That means almost half of the rox team is made up of draft picks thats a pretty high amount.
If that is your point why are you posting? Thats like saying water is wet nobody here is saying rox are better than GSW. Still isn't a reason to blow the team up and trade Harden. The Rox can create capspace next year to sign a star and GSW is in the opposite situation, they w9nt be able to keep all their guys because Curdy who previously just made 11M is due for a mega max extension. The problem with fans is they always act like every season and game is the last ever and so give OA reactions to events, every loss just destroy the team every win we are contenders go all in etc.
You don't get what Morey is doing. Blowing it up means we go through the exact same process over again for the exact same players, barring a change in philosophy or morey getting fired. Right now we need DM to do what he does best, finding talent at good prices. That way we have assets to trade and squeeze all we can out of free agency.
Amazing. Going into the playoffs as the 3rd seed despite one star and already discussing blowing it up. Normally we wait until a heartbreaking playoff loss before we get delirious and wanting everyone gone.
Why aren't we contenders? This team can out score anybody!! We are averaging 123 points since the allstar break. Does nobody remember beating a healthy Warriors squad (in Oakland) earlier this year!?! Go Rockets!!
The big unknown is does the Rockets offense still score like that when the game slows down in the postseason and the refs swallow those whistles more often?
I believe his goal is to get better chance to win championship. If not what is his goal? Why did he even talk to Spurs? Rockets' poor record in 2016 was the main reason KD didn't even meet with them.
Sometimes the garm is full of straw man arguments. He accused you of having an easy to argue against claim then knocked it down..... but you never had that claim to begin with. He is arguing against a straw man. He has no way to refute what you are actually saying. Let him display that he doesnt know very much about argumentation
Really? Just been sad. I know James is too. Westbrick has it now and both of us knew all along that was the only title the rox were playing for..:.i guess I'll comment on this thread when we get knocked out by Westbrick and you all look like jerkoffs for questioning me
