You know, I was kinda looking for a thread you've posted in where it would be appropriate to talk about church... No, I haven't gone yet! I have to work from 10am-midnight this sunday (Steve & Barry's, so, retail all day, ugh), so I can't go to church this week. But I think I'm going to try and make it out next Sunday...I'm really excited about it. I went to a Don Miller book signing and asked him about Ecclesia, and his eyes lit up and he started talking about how great of a church it is and how it's similar to his home church up in Portland, Imago Dei. Needless to say, I can't wait to see what this is all about. Really seems like a church that's right for me.
yeah...like i said...just judging from what you've told me here of your faith, you'll love it. i visit there quite often, though it's not my home church right now. as i said, it was started by an old college buddy of mine. familiar with the robbie seay band? don miller is amazing. what church was he a youth pastor at in houston (as he mentioned in Blue Like Jazz)??? i've been curious about that since i read that book.
