Could you explain to me why people portay Buddha as a big fat bald guy? he didn't look like that. So why portray him as one.

Thanks again, i have a couple of books about Buddhism, but this site is really easy to read, and understand. I expect that you ar a Buddhist? or just someone who is interested. Which Teaching/tradition do you follow?

Cool, i am also interested, and agree with a lot of it. However I also disagree with some things, And I do not think i will ever become a buddhist. But my philosophy is that you should know about things before you accept or reject them. Thanks for the links.

lol, I love how the non-believers (aethiests) always crack jokes about Jesus when the topic comes up. Instead of just saying yes or no, they have to try and be cool and validate themselves by cracking jokes.

Yes, I am a God fearing man, and I worship Jesus. I also respect all other religions except for scientologists. Tom Cruise ruined that one for me.

For you non-believers, seems to me you are taking a big risk by totally disregarding Him, but that's just me.

 

Jesus got pretty angry a couple of times......i wouldnt want to face that.....any christian should have a fear of letting him down (even though its unavoidable), The fear that the thread-starter is referring to (i think), is not a cowering fear.......more like an extreme respect and reverance for the only perfect human to ever walk the planet.
