Yes, I want Howard out of here, so younger, more skilled bigs can get playing time.

The Rockets need him but it doesn't help if he can't play. Bill Worrell called the whole Dwight situation out tonight saying the whole Dwight is playing Dwight is not playing won't cut it this year and is hurting the team.

If he's gonna miss back to backs and constantly be hurt why would we want him. He's 29 and injury prone. When Dwight plays well he's worth something but pretty useless if he can't get on the court.

We want him to opt in because he's a bargain at that price and gives us an expiring contract.

He would be crazy to not opt out though. It will be his last big contract. Probably not the max

Al Jefferson, Whiteside, Horford are all unrestricted in the summer if he opts out. Although I only like Whiteside to take over our 5. Horford would fit well as a 4 with his range.

Depending on his health I completely agree, Dwight is a one man wrecking crew in the paint, even last season he was one of the tops in the league at protecting the paint. He's our security blanket when when the opposing team's player beats his man he has to think twice when he drives to the rim because of Dwight's presence. He's still an elite re-bounder and even on offense I think with Ty and him getting acclimated with time he will be getting many easy alley-oops and easy dunks.

People aren't watching this season either.

We're 0-3 when Dwight plays less than 30 minutes, 1-0 when he plays more than 30 minutes.

Depends on price and whoever else is seriously considering Houston (Durant). If he's asking for another 5 year max or near-max we are almost certainly going to lose out on the tail end of that investment, but maybe that opens the window with Harden for another year or two. Also depends on Dwight's health.

Way too early to make an informed decision.

Good lord, please don't curse any of the current Rockets by making them a DD Favorite tm.

Clint Capela's going to be playing Manila and Montrezl Harrell will be found unconscious at the Bunny Ranch given your track record.

Dwight will look for the max of course. But it doesn't mean anyone will offer it.

    Cuban?

If I'm not mistaken, in the offseason I remember Dwight saying he was willing to opt out and "restructure" his deal if it would help us acquire more talent

Well that would be nice but I guess that depends on how this season plays out too
