Check out Zach Randolph's number.... I am sure he was a winner wherever he went.

    Absolutely.

Might not care if we continue to suck and get some good picks, but we all know that isn't going to happen.

Check out Yao Ming's. Yeah, I can play that game too.

I didn't say Yao Ming played like a superstar....he was a superstar more off the court, a better ambassador.
a nice individual.....and I don't think outside of size Yao had better talent than Gasol..... he just worked harder, worked his ass off..... to not stay a stiff....so he was dominating other big man and not going soft

Gasol at Memphis 0 playoff wins....that is a fact and that was when he was young

Fact we don't have Howard or Bynum to make Gasol look like a Star that he isn't

    Irrelevant.

    Teams win games, not players.

I won't call out Yao so easily. Guy was one of the few Rockets Allstars that actually retired a Rocket. You can't really wish for that because it Happened. Of how many other Rocket ALLSTARS can you say that.

I'm not sure what you mean here. My point was Yao was a star, yet he and Pau have identical career stats, but Pau is not a star?

Pau had more basketball talent but never worked as hard as Yao.
Gasol is not well liked here and he won't really produce where he is not liked....he even didn't produce because of personal issues with the Lakers.
    Guy is emotional wreck.

Yao was a Center..... Pau is not a Center by default he needs a center to be effective. Star or not he is not dominating.

i HATE kobe more than anyone... but that is ridiculous to say no playoff series wins... he could win some playoff series... what he couldnt win is championships so instead....

Kobe without Pau or Shaq = 0 championship series wins

Really? This is where this conversation has gone? Your inner armchair knows that Pau doesn't work as hard as yao? Its also telling you that Pau won't be liked here, therefore he won't perform well?

Yeah...what's your point again? Either of us can't prove this because he is not coming here. at least not soon

I didn't say he couldn't perform well.....thanks for changing the meaning of my words

I said certain environments favor certain types of players. We play hard now... we need enforcers with McHale as our coach.... effort and intensity level....and that's not Gasol's strength..... I respect that Gasol is one of the player you like
and it is very hard for a player to play in an environment that does not favor him.....It's like you go to a work place and the bosses are hard on you.

Your exact quote was, "Gasol is not well liked here and he won't really produce where he is not liked." That's exactly what you said, but you're also right. He isn't here, for now, so there's no point in arguing about a failed trade. The point is Pau Gasol is a star, whether you like him or not. The end.

so you say he is a star what about Bynum now? He is putting better stats out there. Did Gasol ever put 20 20 in this season?
I don't even think Bynum is a star now...but he is on a good way.

Lol, Bynum is a top 3 center in a league desparate for bigs. He is absolutely a star. Why else would he be the headlining piece in a Dwight Howard deal? SMH.
