Hey, I saw the Patriot, those Brits had no morales. ------------------ "Roses are red. Violets are blue. I'm a schizophrenic and so am I."
How can you be sure of this when "everyone's vote wasn't counted"? I guess that standard only applies when it's close and Gore is on the losing end in states with the most electoral votes. When Gore ends up with more popular votes, of course everyone in the country had their vote counted. While we're throwing out accusations that have no evidence to support them, I would just like to know how you can support a President guilty of rape. As one BBS poster used to say in his sig--"Oops, you'd better put some ice on that." -Bill Clinton to Juanita Broderick On the question of legitimacy--not only did Bush win the election fair and square, but he ended up with 48.5% of the vote to Bill Clinton's 41% in '92. More people wanted Bush this time than wanted Clinton. Looks like Clinton may be illegitimate in more ways than one.
Oops. I guess I could have looked back further, though I've never heard the accusation that GWB's grandfather had any influence over his college education. He was Prescott Bush, R-Senator, CT, 1952-1962. BTW -- I found GHWB's biography at his presidential library website -- ttp://bushlibrary.tamu.edu/ A odd sidenote, our State's website lists Rick Perry as the Texas Governor, and Laura Bush as the first lady of Texas. I wonder if Mrs. Perry knows... ------------------ Stay Cool...
