I was born in Houston, then moved all over East Texas growing up (Beaumont, Port Arthur, Mt. Pleasant) before moving to Oak Ridge North in junior high. Oak Ridge High School '99 University of Houston '04 I moved to Houston for college and fell in love with the place. It'll always be home.
I lived in Mission Bend and went to Albright also, I believe it was the first year that it opened. I go back from time to time, seems pretty run down.

I haven't seen Albright in a looong time. Funny cuz my aunt and uncle still live right by it, but it's just a bit out of the way. Mission Bend is definitely not the suburban place that it used to be. Run-down is a good description. My Mom actually still teaches at Petrosky, even though she moved away from Alief about 12 years ago. She's been teaching there longer than I've been alive!
