you don't beat the suns by shooting 3's.

look at how the LA teams played them in the playoffs last year. pound the ball inside and drive to the rim.

yao, hayes, shane, and howard all need to be fed close to the basket and go up strong everytime. tmac, rafer, snyder, and billy all need to attack the baskett.

this is a game where JVG just had a bad plan. starting novak was the first mistake. he played right into the suns game.

Right. We beat them by shooting 3's and making it.

here is a idea... if your missing a wide open 3... then just move in a bit obviously these guys are laying off you... so if you cant drive in for a lay up...

drive in the 5 feet they are giving you... and instead of shooting a 23 footer...

    you shoot a 18 footer...

if our guys cant manage that... Luther included... then our 3 point sharp shooters are really not as good as we think...

It was stupid to take twice as many 3s as the suns. The suns set a 3 point record last year and to take twice as many 3s as them is just asking for trouble.

I hate to say it but I agree.

The example of LA Lakers proves it.

You have to make the Suns play our type of game rather than the other way around. Pound the ball in, slow the game down, & play hard D.

Exactly, that's what happened in the third quarter, and that's when we made our comeback. When we went back to playing run and gun basketball, we fell apart again in the fourth.

TMac is awesome, but unless he's taking it to the basket, he needs to be put on a leash.
