This guy reminds me of Brian Kelly during his Notre Dame heyday. His favorite hobby was ripping QBs as they walked off the field after mistakes..
Talking to people who gamble religiously on sports is mind-numbing. All the joy of the game is sucked out in my opinion, and the things they focus on are so counter-intuitive to watching as a fan that just loves the sport.
This isn't a Mike McDaniel kissing the QB moment, that's a play that would get you benched in every level of football where the coach's job isn't tied to you not busting.
'Benched in every level of football'? Disagree. Ive seen QBs make these type of dumb plays every week.
I can't recall the last time I saw an NFL QB try to lateral his way out of a sack intentionally and turn it into a strip sack.
I do fantasy. Would not say I'm heavy into it. I will say watching the red zone in the window that the Texans are not playing in helps the time go by and gets me watching other teams I would not generally care about.
This. Also, I like that getting into fantasy has made me much more knowledgeable about other teams and players and the nfl in general. Makes convos with friends in the off-season and playoffs more fun too because I know more of who and what is going on.
