It depends on whether he'll work on the mental side of the game. Physically gifted often can't grasp that part of the game which those less gifted HAVE to develop at an early age..
He has an MBA in finance. The intellect is there. The work ethic is there (from all his coaches) Writing him off as a scrub because of some bias you (general) have is dumb. He’s someone to worry about in division, if he puts it all together. Same as AR and Lawrence
I'm talking generalities from which we determine probabilities. Individuals can always overcome the odds.
Makes sense. AR and Levis have less time actually playing QB, Levis was used in the Taysom Hill role at Penn St. so there was less time for the development of actual QB skills even though he’s older. AR is young and needed another year of seasoning imo. Both have elite physical skillsets. IF, big if there, they reach their ceilings it’s a scary thing imo. Much less scary with Stroud showing he’s capable of being truly elite, but I hate seeing the talent in division that’s there.
I sometimes wonder if the wonder-lick scores and criticism didn't give him extra motivation. Could it have been a blessing in disguise?
AR is going to be a problem but his name is going to always be attached to "...if he can stay healthy."
The reality is that "if he can stay healthy" can be applied to everyone. Some will have a history and some will not. But size does not matter except to skew the probabilities.
I used that because he's been hurt in every game he's played in. I'm not going to say that every time a given player is mentioned. Especially if they don't have a history. That'd be too cliche. And I didn't mention size.
Has AR played in more than one game? I thought he was injured in his first game and hasn't played since. But maybe it's two games. I threw that in for Bryce.
Yeah, he's played in 4 games. I believe he's been hurt in every one. I know for sure he didn't finish 3. Gotcha on the size. Figured Bryce was the target.
I think our division is crazy loaded at QB. All these young guys, including Lawrence, will be special if healthy. AR to me is the main one for the injury concern. If he stays healthy, he is going to be a superstar. CJ is already there. Had he not had one bad game against the Jets and got hurt, he was definitely in the MVP conversation.
If the Inbreds draft a LT/C/RG Levis will look a lot better. Right know he's getting the crap beaten out of him.
