    Lin
    Martin, Livingston
    Parsons
    Scola, Patterson
    Asik, Leuer, Brockmam

Too much experience and ability for a tank job.

At this point I just hope the Rockets don't challenge the 2011-2012 Bobcats records.

    Are we officially tanking?

I dont think tanking is ever a official status or announcement. But it does appear we are selling off vets for picks and younger players which amounts to the same thing for some period of time.

Lets face it, everyone wanted us to get better. Just add someone brilliant (Dwight) to the top and jump our status into contention.

Some thought Dwight was never going to come or stay (if he came in the first place) and felt rebuilding was our answer to contention at a later point.

Some seem to only see as far as the latest trade, missing the bigger picture entirely, and call for ousting Morey.

Its hard to have your cake and eat it too. All those complaining of perpetual mediocrity should be happy. Change is in the air. And whether that leads to a team that is worse or better, its unlikely we will will be anywhere near the #14 pick next year either way it ends up.

In my view, we didnt have the players or the opportunity to get the player(s) through trade or FA signing to get us into the elite. While other teams make questionable moves at times, none were going to make it easy for the Rockets to rise above them all. So going after the highest draft picks we could this year, getting what we can in terms of youth and future picks for the players we still retain that have some value is the only direction left if one is not content to be a 9th or 10th seed every year. When your in selling mode, some of these moves are going to look uneven. Thats just the nature of the beast. Hopefully, some of the instant reactions and shortsighted evaluations will settle down sometime soon and we can get on with the logical direction that the players we end up with will dictate.

We are tanking by default now

Morey going after Dwight, Dragic, Eric Gordon, and signing Asik to that horrible contract is NOT a sign of rebuilding

Morey was trying to get a star player, and make us relevant

The problem is, no agent( i think) wants to deal with him
