Are we just gonna ignore the monster concerts Black Sabbath had in Texas this week?

i didn't know the guy, apparently a die hard fan, who was not pleased.

Someone also told me that seeing New Order in concert is not good either.

I saw the Cult last year at sxsw and that lead singer's voice is not good anymore.

I'm glad I don't feel this way , love em both and think they are different enough that they don't need to be compared

I was at the Woodlands show, and it was AWESOME. Yes, I heard Ozzy searching for the proper key a few times, but it was far from the ruination some seem to claim. My girlfriend, who has received a crash-course in all things Sabbath over the past couple of months, loved it every bit as much as I did, and her entire reference point was Ozzy mumbling and stuttering his way around on The Osbournes. Needless to say, her expectations weren't high, and she loved it.

I grew up attending plenty of live classical music performances as well as a bajillion rock concerts. So, I'm well-within my rights to b**** and complain and point out when someone has stunk up the joint. Sabbath rocked, plain and simple.

Someone who gets it. I don't see how anyone who saw Van Halen, The Who, Stones, McCartney, etc. recently and enjoyed it, could complain about Sabbath. IMO they are the closest to their heyday than any of the aforementioned. They were less about nostalgia than any of the others without a doubt.
