    I didn’t realize he just turned 25 in October.
    I still don’t think he deserves PT over a few of the younger guys but over Nwaba and House? Maybe, just due to shooting, defense and age

    I didn’t see anything special that would make me play him over a guy like KJ or even playing a second big like Sengun.

    He got cooked in a true iso situation by Dort of all people. He took a couple charges but otherwise was not all that great defensively.

    Shot looks good, and should start falling at a higher rate.

    I like him but I would not play him over some of the guys he leaped in the rotation.

    He played like a 3&D player last night. Also liked his touch passes, the ball wasn't sticky when he got it. Most importantly, the 3's were going in. Not unlike Armoni when he first came to the Rockets and had a hot streak of games. Unfortunately, Armoni hasn't been shooting well.

    The staggering of the bigs (Wood, Theis, and Al P) is to provide more spacing for Green (and Wood's pick n' roll) so opponents don't pack the paint. If that's the strategy, have to have 3pt shooters where opponents will respect. Tate or KJ doesn't quite space the floor but they do enough of other things to warrant their minutes. Gordon is filling in for an injured KPJ, and DJ fill the same for the 2nd unit.

    If Garrison can play as well as he did in the OKC game; then I think he cuts in front of the line as far as minutes. We sorely miss shooters, who can help with spacing. I get that guys like KJ and Sengun need more minutes, but our offense is so bad right now, if the defense isn't too much of a drop off, we have to be able to score the ball better.

    I don't think it's a hot take to put Garrison above House, considering how House has played this year. And it's not a race thing. o_O

    p.s. If Armoni gets his stroke back and continue to improve his defense. Any interesting permiter line up could be.

    Green
    Brooks
    Mathews
    <pf of choice>
    <Wood>

    It could really open for Green (or Gordon) to slash and improve a drive & kick game.

    Never heard of this guy but it’s weird Sengun only played 5 mins. He and JG need to get as many mins as possible. Those are your 2 building pieces.

    He should be part of the rotation and House jettisoned out.

    He looked alright, but he did provide some shooting for spacing so that is always useful.

    Rather see what he's got over House.

    House doesn't have a lot of vet habits for a vet player, not sure he's helping the young players anymore once they have their own grasp on the offense/defense.

    You make a good point about House. It’s not like he’s going to be a good influence, he’s proven that already. If he’s not playing well either, what in the hell is even the point of having the guy around?

    Rockets have to mix in some more 3-pt shooters and get the 3P% up in order
    to have the spacing to make the plays work.

    All the teams use the same sets with some variations.....spacing makes them work with
    greater efficiency.

    I think most just want him to replace House's minutes. I don't think anyone disagrees with that right? Maybe get 15-20 minutes off the bench. House gets waived. I doubt we get anything worthwhile trading him.
