AJ is not getting a lot of TDs, because he is always covered, so the TEs or other WRs are open, or the texans go for the rush TD.

This is the texans plan, pass to AJ, and then inside the 10 go for the rushing TD, or a pass to the open TE.

why passing the ball to a double-covered AJ, when you have Garret Graham wide open in the endzone?

Pretty much this. In a few years we will have less Watt threads because it will just be Watt being Watt.

Was it Keshawn Johnson who said AJ wasn't a top 10 WR this season?

I know we are in Schaub hating mode at the moment, with very good reason. But the real wasted years of his are the Carr years.

He only averaged 65 YPG, since then he has averaged just under 100 YPG, which is a mind blowing number. If he had a real QB the 1st 4 years he'd probably have 1000 more yards.

Schaub has cost Dre victories, but he hasn't really cost him stats.

QBs and system have hurt Dre's numbers but he also lacks elite elusiveness after the catch. He doesn't make people miss enough. Most of his tds are long passes in the air with little YAC. Great player regardless. Might end up #2 all time in yards and receptions. I hope he gets 80 tds minimum.

schaub has gotten a lot of yards. so andre hasn't been hurt by him. don't let the pitiful fall down after the pick six cloud your judgement.

Schaub's lack of deep throw ability has indeed hurt Dre. We've all seen passes where Dre has 5 yards on the DB morph into jumpballs.

It's probably a little late for AJ to suddenly have a TD explosion to boost his HOF resume. The Texans offense doesn't throw the ball down field and doesn't target him in the RZ, simple as that. What he really needs is a dominant playoff run. 10-12 catches and 150+ yards for 3+ games in a row, against elite level competition. That would really help his chances of getting to Canton. He can do it, too. He is, in my opinion, the best "over the middle" receiver in the history of the game.

Maybe, but I remember Cris Carter claiming Andre Johnson wasn't on the same level as the likes of Steve Smith, Percy Harvin or Roddy White.

Boldin didn't even make the list.

Can't speak on Roddy but Smith and Harvin are more elusive. Boldin is pretty much the WR version of Peyton Manning.
