If it is possible that we're not going to match Posey's offer---possible, I say---then why did we ever go through the business of publicly stating T-Mo is playing summer league to see if he can catch on with a team? His shot isn't great (neither is Posey's) but he plays decent D and has long arms. His drawback is that he defers too much. He's a better player than he knows, but he bows to the team's ballhogs. Still, if CD is actually looking at "other options," he could do a hell of a lot worse. If he loses Posey, that means KT's presence was a waste, as we traded him for nothing; not to mention the first-round draft pick we flushed for T-Mo.
