Two things: First, as has been discussed ad naseum on this board, Cuttino Mobley and Kenny Thomas are not the type of scorers that get their points off direct passes. More and more lately CUttino has been immediately taking the open 3 pointer once Steve passes it to him, but KT for some reason does nto feel comfortable getting a pass and immediately shooting it, even if he is completely open. Second, in teh Boston game the passes to Cato actually worked. Steve did have 5 turnovers that game, but he still put up 10 assists and Cato had 14 points. Francis isn't Stockton, Kidd, or the Glove. He is his own unique player. None of those players have won a championship yet regardless, and that is the ultimate goal.
