Right on. Ming should stop being nice on court, even to his teammates.

Sometimes, Cato just robbed the rebound away from Yao! Cato is really quick for that, even that rebound 100% belongs to Yao.

I think saying that Ming can't be nice on the court and still dominate is absolute crap, you don't even need to look out of Houston to see that in action. just look at Olajuwon over the years, you can't find a nicer guy than that.

I have a different idea of what aggressive means. To me, aggressive doesn't mean he shall give an elbow to the defender or trash talking.

    For me, aggressive means:
    - When he start the move, initiate the contact.
    - Be decisive on his move once a decision had been made.
    - On rebounding, don't just box out his man, always go TOWARD the loose ball.

I am sure there are a few things I forgot, but none of them involved an elbow.

Olajuwon being nice? The same Olajuwon who slapped his teammate to the ground in practice because he didn't get the ball when he wanted? I agree with you Hakeem had certain grace not commonly seen in other players late in his career, but that was mostly because he got all the respect from the players around the league first (note the order: you get respect then you play nice, not the other way arond). There was no way he would be nice to Kemp (maybe Grant) if he had gotten that deep a scratch on him arm.

We the fans have been making (or made) excuses for Rudy, Francis and Mobley (especially Francis) for the past 4 years and given those 2 players way too much benefit of doubt. It is still going on now but I don't see you complaining - so where is the balance?

That is just plain stupid - hands down. What has his parents and any sort of girlfriend have to do with this thread? American girlfriend? Wow! I just hope you screw on your head better soon.
