Today we are better without Yao.
Next time Lakers adjusts and outscores us by 40 points, another thread comes up that we are not better without Yao.

    That's so typical GARM :D

I'd don't know any team that gets better without a guy who averages a double-double.

Really, some guys calld "Clutch Fans" sometimes seem they're come from other cities except HOU.It's so depressed that you said we'd give up YAO or give YAO ELM/10m or We're better without YAO, even said these just after YAO lead us passed 1st round.

Those guys really understand what the word "Thanksgiving" mean?Such guys should think this in Thanksgiving Days.

Sometimes I wanna say " ingratitude" to those guys, but i wish it's just sense illusion.

What about when portland got rid of zach ranpolph or denver with marcus camby.

I don't think we are better without yao, but your statement is inaccurate.

Wow, again and again. It's just one game. Anyone understand basketball knows we're a better team with Yao. This thread deserves a poor rating.

I agree completely. There is a reason high character guys are in demand. Yao gives his all day in, day out. When your best player is your most responsible, this has to rub off.

I hope he works HARD on his high post screen and roll game, so the fronting is not as effective and he can get away from some of the pounding he gets.

Also, it opens up the lane for AB and Lowry with Yao setting the high pick and being open for an elbow jumper.

It depends on what the coach is asking him to do.

I don't expect the Rockets to this series without Yao. But I think we should consider whether Yao makes so much better that he deserves a max contract. I think a Yao-centric offense can stifle the creativity and playmaking of our perimeter players, and ultimately that will put a cap on how good we can be at that end. Might that max money be better spent elsewhere?
