The Rockets got what they deserved:

The team for not accepting Yao as #1 option and not looking for him enough

The coaches for playing him too many minutes

Morey for not getting a solid back-up, even before they decided to bring Deke back

Les Alexander for being a cheap ass

This is the most r****ded thread ever. We've been through this crap before. There are time that we really need Yao and at time we don't need him. With Yao on the team, this team is even deeper.

Yep, I'm not going to say we are better with out Yao, but this offense seems to flow so much better.

Yao being so big/slow and demanding 2 guys to guard him takes the rim away from everyone else.

This is exciting. Hell even cook made an appearance! LOL. Go rockets!

Then JVG would be a rookie here too, because he said the same thing at the end of the half...

I'm pretty sure he said because of Hayes. Has nothing to do with no Yao.

the problem is, they don't do well when he's in there and he's being fronted. they don't know how to deal with that. they haven't all season. so you have a game 2 where he shoots 4 times....and he's doing nothing but clogging the lane at that point. no way the coach will sit him. and every team in the league will front him if they know it means he's headed to the bench, anyway.

with AB and Lowry, you maximize those players when you're not clogging the lane.

LMAO. You think they're going to be shooting like this every single night? Lets wait and see before jumping into the stupid 1 game outcome. God, I hate r****ded people who on and off the bandwagon.

no, i don't think they'll shoot like this every night.

i also don't think they'll be beating teams like the lakers by 30 every night. you don't have to win by 20 to win.

but these shots are wide freaking open. and they're getting a lot of points off layups.

by the way...don't throw bandwagon on me. i'm a 4th generation houstonian and have been a rockets fan my whole life.

This team seems so much comfortable every season playing without him. Maybe its because he's not clogging the lane?

There you see? 7 pts in the 4 quarter so far. This is what we be seeing when the team rhythm are off when their shooting are off and don't have an inside game. This is ugly when the team can't shoot.
