well... this means hayes should particepant in offensively. he should not
only contribute in deffense, but also in offense. the more he can contribute,
the bigger chance rox can win... same as the Battier example.
but there is only thing you getta know... "get 20+ points" is totally different
with "get points or double fingers" Battier and Hayes are both deffensive players, so if they can have some contribution in offense, thats obviouly a great thing for rox.
and excuse me, can i ask, are you doubting yao's importance for rox??? double teamed, to make open shots for teammates, block shot etc, are all my imagination??

Well, the point is that Yao can get 20+ points without much difficulty because he can score, and the team should take the advantage of this. For Battier and Hayes, that is a total different story, I just do not know how do you run offense through them. There was a night for Hayes who may score 10 points, but that was just the opportunity points he had, nothing is related to the point of the team winning when Yao scored 20+points because those two were not asked to score more points rather than playing their strength on the defense.

When Shane is hitting his shots the deffense are more hesitant to leave him to double Yao or Ron

No, however he has been below average in the clutch this season. Adelman does need to learn how to manage his minutes much better. He was quite clutch under Jeff Van Gundy and he was also quite clutch last season. I don't understand how you lose clutch-ness.

you know what I want to see more? Yao shooting 3's. like change up his game a little instead of it being so predictable. We all know Yao Ming is going to post up and do a hook shot. Other teams already know to come swing by and double him and someetimes Yo is unable to pass it out. How about Yao Ming sets a pick and roll and shoots the three or sets a pick and roll and runs in to grab the easy pass for the lay-up. I just want the rockets to be more creative with Yao instead of the obvious hook shot all the time.

This is just asking to have a opposite opinion bump with a punked next time the Rockets have trouble in the 4th going down to Yao due to other teams doubling and fronting.

Sometimes you just let sleeping giants lie.....

I don't know. Sometimes YAO dominates the 4th, when he fouls out the other teams big men and there is no one left to guard him.

I'd say YAO did great tonight against the Pistons.

LOL, the haters will always find the reasons to hate.

Didn't Yao saved our ass when we were down by 5 against the Spurs? And then AB turned it into choking.
    What did the haters say?
Let me guess... "Are we better without Yao? Are we better without yao in the fourth quarter?" :D :D :D

I just don't understand why we are better without Yao in the 4th! If our seven times all-star is being doubled/tripled team, somebody got to be opened, why can't we punish the opposite team for doing it?

Because if the Rockets don't have good spacing, and good, crisp ball movement and dribble-drive penetration, they can't take advantage of it.
