I can't tell if I'm a conservative liberal or a liberal conservative. I'm not the biggest fan of social welfare programs, I like the idea of state sovereignty, and like lowered taxes just for the middle class. I also believe in gay rights, access to education for all, and science efficacy. Oh and I am as okay with the death penalty as I am with abortion. The Republican party and their alliances make me sick, but if candidates ran on similar platforms without the ties to the president I could vote for them. I liked McCain before he spoke Palin. I like W now and realize what I hated was actually Cheney. Not sure what camp that puts me in, but last time I checked I'm 33, I'm too old for camp.
I don't know how to post the graphic y'all all posted, but I took the test and got Core Conservative.
I remember this thread, it ended up showing that just about all of the conservatives on this board that took the test were fairly moderate.
The only purpose of that "quiz" is to set defunding public schools, effectively repealing the Civil Rights act and legalizing all drugs and prostitution in supposed diametric opposition to "authoritarianism," despite there being actual electable parties and ideologies that oppose those libertarian planks.

For what little it's worth, I don't think of you as a liberal, moderate, or conservative. I think of you as someone who just repeats whatever Trump tells you to believe, defends him at all costs on all subjects, and posts random things without much ability to actually analyze facts and make coherent arguments.
When did Trump state we need to raise the minimum wage? When has Trump said anything positive of the ACA? When has Trump talked about equal opportunity immigration, doubling the number of seats in the US House, ending the Iraq War and Afghanistan War, legalizing mar1juana, etc?
Most actual conservatives and liberals are shockingly moderate, yes. I know this is a crazy thought to some people.
The differences between the factions isn't much to do with actual policy and ideology but rather what set of facts are true and what is "fake news". For example if Trump auppsuppor suddenly believed in the reporting of Trump rather than labeling it fake news, they would be appalled by him and ditch him immediately. Screaming "fake news" is more of a coping mechanism so they can avoid cognitive dissonance. It's what is factual vs fake news. That is the modern political paradigm. Nuanced policy discussion is thrown out the window when people aren't adhearing to the same set of facts.
