well, they do have an history of trading away key players and superstars, from Alonzo Mourning, Kobe Bryant,Baron Davis, Larry Johnson etc.....they franchise is notoriously cheap

    Like I said:

    Rockets get:
    Butler
    Miller
    James

    Wizards get:
    McGrady
    Dorsey

    Why the Wiz do it:
Butler, Jamison and Arenas are really failing to play with each other this year (just check tonight's box score). And although the Wizards claim Butler isn't going anywhere, he can be had I'm sure. McGrady replaces Butler, plus his contract comes off the books! The Wiz have woefully underachieved this year and are in need of a shake-up. The supposedly "hungry" McGrady could push them over the hump (that "hump" being the 8th seed of course).

    Why the Rockets do it:
Butler is a top 10 small forward. He can defend and score plus his contract isn't near the albatross that Arenas' is. Miller and James both expire but Miller could provide some sweet shooting off the bench. James, well, we've dealt with that clown before. I imagine he'd be shown the door.

I think a couple of situations to keep an eye include the Sixers, Pistons and Pacers. So far this season, these ballclubs haven't been playing up to expectations and come closer to the deadline may be willing to part with a star player and shed long-term deals. Someone like a Danny Granger/Dunleavy or Murphy combo would be ideal, but Rip Hamilton and Andre Iguodala would also fit into our offence.

Still holding out hope that we can package T-Mac and receive a star player in return
