All signs point to yes, but I voted no.

The key thing to remember is that Dwight's "drama" has largely come from the inability to mesh his desires with those of the team that owned his contract (Orlando). For all the grief he took, and deservedly so, he didn't waver from his desire to go to Brooklyn last summer. He was very steadfast in his belief that Brooklyn was the place for him. But they had no attractive trade pieces for Orlando, and Dwight was reluctant to compromise. That led to a prolonged stalemate.

Here, that stubbornness works to Houston's advantage. There's no GM to work with regarding a trade. There's no talk of "leverage". It's a simple signing into available cap space. If the reports are accurate and Dwight has Houston at the top of his list, it has me quite optimistic because he's historically very stubborn in his beliefs.

The only suffering heartache is Dwight. We need him, but Rockets have options. I'm sure there are other superstars that wants to play with Harden and in Htown.

I would want him here, but I don't believe he'll come here.

If he stays in LA, he will increasingly bear the brunt of media scrutiny, far more than this season. He doesnt strike me as mentally weak, you dont become the player he has been being mentally weak, but he seems to really get agitated by what other people say.

If a star doesn't want to come here, then it's no use crying about it.

You know what? I'm voting yes. I know it's nowhere near certain, but I'm fine with the result either way. We'll still have capspace next offseason and be able to find a nice young player to develop with Harden.

Not even close, our core are not gauranteed to be back next season. Asik and Lin could be gone, along with smith and BEV.

The only players on our roster right now who i think are absolute on non trading grounds are harden obviously, and parsons.

Def not gonna heartache about anything related to Dwight Howard. I think everyone is underestimating how coy he is. There is a lot more flirting and googly eyes to be made before the end of this year's Dwight story.

    Intrigued by the possibilities.

No loss if we don't get Dwight.

No disappointment, we have a great team as is.

Does it count as heartache if he does come to houston?? I don't want this guy here! If he comes I hope he proves me wrong.

I voted no. Setting ourselves up for more rejection. He will stay in LA. He is just "toying" with us.
