Are the Spurs winning this way one of the best things that could happen for basketball?

Just curious, so you would rather have Harden and Howard in the playoffs than Parker and Duncan? Enjoy the first round exits if that is the case.

 

Depends who's coaching. You telling me Parker and Duncan have the same success with somebody like Kevin Mchale coaching rather than Popavich?

Your question isn't entirely fair. We all know how held back the Rockets are from coaching and how much of an advantage the Spurs have with Pop.

Having said that...doesn't take away from how great Parker and Duncan are.

 

It's sort of a chicken and egg question though. Do you think Popovich would be content with guys like Harden and Howard on his roster? I tend to think those are the sorts of players he would not want on his roster. He hand picks players that believe in the system and not themselves.

 

So basically... USA lost the NBA Championship to Europe.
