I dont think Bruce Bowen is dirty. JVG said he's "crafty". The Spurs dont need any "high moral ground", they just play, they dont complain off the court, and they dont advertise. Sending p***y Amare home!!!!

If we had been a good tanker we would have had Brandon Roy!!!

Why are you trolling around here?

Well, the Rockets history in the 80s told a different story otherwise. I dont understand your trolling stuff. Got hit by the truth or just try to perfect your image.

That was what, 5 coaches ago? Again, if the Rockets were good at or at all committed to tanking, even when they SHOULD have been, Brandon Roy would be on the roster right now.

Yeahhh Doubleboogie- You are right in that the Rockets got a lucky coin toss to get Akeem Olajuwon in the 1984 draft 23 years ago. And The Rockets got Ralph Sampson in 1983- who lasted 3 years and change before health-knee problems

Tim Duncan is IMHO the greatest Center to ever play the Power Forward position. No 4 in the west has been able to match up well with him for 10 years. He is the most consistent big man in this era. No team ever got so lucky tanking as the Spurs- a team with talent already-including antoher good big man - the soft David Robinson (who never ever would have seen a ring without Duncan)..I cannot say enough good things about Tim Duncan-great player....

As far as Bowen = his actions speak for him- there is no more consistently dirty player in this era- he is as bad - almost bad as John Stockton and Karl Malone-inherently evil to the core. There is no way to defend his dirty play.

It Speaks to Poppovich' character - his comment on Horry's flagrant foul on Nash-"a hard foul at the end of the game". Dirty play is encouraged and condoned in Spurs basketball.....I had previously respected Pops character- though I still respect his basketball acumen......

You should go back to Spurs land to Gloat about your team's success - it is in poor taste and bad form here. This is a Rockets board - do you not have other spurs fans you can slap their back and talk about how great you are???? Trolling here makes you look bad.

Who cares .....I hate the Spurs- but respect them.

I am surrounded by work people that love the Spurs now that Dallas went down in flames-it is annoying. They give me advice daily about what the Rockets have been doing wrong.....

    Go home Spurs Troll

Entering their prime?! Uh, no. They are in the twilight of their glory. Duncan's and Ginobil's game will start dropping soon, and Parker isn't good enough to lead a championship team without those two at the top of their game. Expect a few second round knockouts after they win it all this year, with them blowing it up in 2010.

If Spurs did get the rings this year, they would be grateful to Warriors who kicked out Mavs in the 1st round.

More like the league office, who handed them Game 5 against the Suns.

I'd rather personally pitch the ball that Barry Bonds hits to break Hank Aaron's record than watch the Spers win another title.
