The Bulls are soooooo over-rated. Rose is slightly above average now but doesn't know it. Noah couldn't give you point to save his life, and he isn't a great rebounder. Gasol is good and shows why Morey went after him so hard a few years ago, but he is old. Jimmy Butler is good but he's not much of a playmaker. The rest of the team is bleh. That is the reason why they aren't even the 3rd best team in the East.
Would you all do this? This would TRULY make us 2 deep at every position: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=opehf7w PG: Beverley/Jack/Terry SG: Harden/Terry/Jack SF: Ariza/Brewer PF: Smith/T.Jones (when he comes back in 4-6 weeks)/Dorsey C: Howard/D-MO Thoughts?
Okc? They are a two man team we match up well against their strengths, no worry about them at all. DD
Boston Celtics' last champ is an example. Celtics were miserable before they coined the term "Big Three". The way how this Rockets team is quickly constructed together, I would not be surprised at all. Isn't everybody expecting another major move by trade deadline?
No one is the favorite in the West this season. Now, are the Rockets talented enough to win it all? Absolutely. The only teams they've consistently had trouble with recently are the Thunder and Clippers, and neither of those ballclubs is having a great season. I'd give them at least a 50/50 shot against any other team in the West(and the East obviously is a joke should they make it to the Finals).
Yea. That Ibaka guy who always manages to take harden out the game single handedly by roaming the paint. I'm not saying it would surprise me if we beat them. What I'm saying is we have no evidence right now to say we will
How many 3rd options are there to create their own shots? I mean that he's their 3rd best player, not 3rd best creator. He's developed into a good 3pt shooter too and plays elite defense. But yes Reggie Jackson is good on offense too.
Personally I would say favorites. Although ESPN says now "Top 2 in West". And Vegas futures went from 30/1 to 16/1.
Yes in 94-95 I believe we were the #6 seed and had to beat Utah, Phoenix, and San Antonio on the road just to get to the finals. Then beat Orlando on the road which was completely stacked as well. If we weren't 100:1 we were at minimum 50:1 (2%) to win it all at the beginning of the 94-95 playoffs.
Unless this team learns how to protect the basketball and play smart, then I might have been mistaken. LOL - we are just sloppy far too often, need more focus - I am guessing a lot of this is due to the new guys and lack of chemistry - but most of the guys struggling are the veterans like Bev, Terry and Ariza.
