Are the Rockets making a big mistake not bringing in Stan Van Gundy?

    I think SVG would be the perfect coach here, for our current roster. Although, with that being said, I would rather have Morey here than SVG, and I do not think they would work together.

    Let's bring in all the fired coaches in as our Coaching Staff. Under one big happy McHale family. D'Antoni as our Offensive coordinator and Mike Brown as our Defensive coordinator. It'd be great.

    Alright, apologies. Excuse the LOF comment. Your sign month was June vs July. That's a big difference :)

    But back to the SVG suggestion...SVG will never coach Howard again. Right? Don't put any blame on the Rockets.

    Hollins absolutely can't stand the analytic approach. He butted heads with Memphis when they started focusing on that.

    SVG is good but not for us, he and Dwight didn't end on the best of terms. I would rather have George Karl or Lionel Hollins. Sad thing is Mchale will still be here next year so unless they want to be Assistant Coaches it's not going to happen.
