You're arguing like a little kid. "yes i did" "no you didn't" "yes I did". Notapollo33, why does it even matter to you?
As Murphy pointed out, Harden should play off the ball as a 2, which is a simple solution best for the team and his development. Only if he focuses on playing one position in offense (without pushing his teammates out of strengths) and puts a full effort in defense would his teammates believe that he is playing for winning and respect his leadership. The coach can't hold him responsible so it is up to him to figure it out. The Rockets have several potential stars in the making so it's not bad for Harden to sit for a few games to chill and get healthy.
I'm sure the OP is playing the throw the bone and wait for the idiots to go and get it.No sane humanbeing would think this team would be better without a top 5 player in todays game.
As much as I love Harden, he certainly isn't in the Top 5 yet. I wouldn't even put him in the top 10 players of today due to his horrific defense.
name me 10 better players Paul LBJ Durant ? Who else ?. Right now he is struggling with a bum ankle, but just a few games ago where he was on fire most pundits had him at worst a top 7 player.
He's just inside Top 10. In no particular order... -Lebron James -Kevin Durant -Chris Paul -Dwight Howard -Kobe Bryant -Dwyane Wade -Tony Parker -Tim Duncan -James Harden -Toss up between Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook
OP mistakenly put Harden, it should of been McHale. So far this season, Lin is the MVP. If you disagree, kiss my beard.
I think it's all about coaching... if you are the 007 in the team and young, things can go way up and way down.
